Beacon Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 August 2026

Beacon lets you monitor and control the Claude Code sessions running on your own computers from your iPhone. This policy explains what Beacon does and does not do with your information. Beacon is made by Harvey Creative LLC.

The short version

Beacon is designed so that we never see your data. Everything you send between your iPhone and your Mac is end-to-end encrypted; our relay server only forwards sealed bytes it cannot read. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

What Beacon handles

What Beacon does not do

Third parties

Beacon relies on Apple's Push Notification service to deliver alerts and on a relay server operated on our behalf that forwards only encrypted, unreadable data between your devices. Your Claude Code sessions interact with Anthropic's Claude under Anthropic's own terms; Beacon simply mirrors those sessions to your phone.

Data retention

Because your content is end-to-end encrypted and not stored by us in readable form, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Removing the app and unpairing your devices removes the local keys and data on those devices.

Children

Beacon is a developer tool intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
